What should you do when injured?

  1. Get names, addresses and phone numbers of all witnesses.

  2. Take photographs of your injuries and get treatment for them.

  3. Follow your doctor’s orders.

  4. Take photographs of the scene as close to the same time of day and as soon as possible after the incident with a real camera, not just a cell phone.

  5. Get the name, address, telephone number, license plate number and insurance company of the other person involved in the incident.

  6. Report the incident to your insurance company.

  7. Call the police to make an incident report.

  8. Take photographs of all property damage on your vehicle and the other driver’s vehicle.
